About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Documentation Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Commissioning Documentation Professional, you will be responsible for creating project-specific commissioning documents for electrical and I&C equipment in accordance with contractual specifications and Siemens Energy standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compiling project-specific electrical and I&C commissioning manuals in compliance with contractual requirements and internal standards.
  • Coordinating the scope and schedule of the project-specific commissioning manual with project management.
  • Clarifying electrical and I&C commissioning interfaces with engineering.
  • Defining commissioning boundaries or system boundaries as a foundation for the commissioning procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in the English language with writing and speaking.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc) preferably with focus on power engineering.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical commissioning of components and systems in power plants.
  • High technical qualification in the field of Electrical Commissioning and operation of electrical installations of Power Plants and/or Synchronous Condensers.
  • Advanced skills and experience with MS Windows, Word, Excel and PDF editors.
  • High quantity of file management and manipulation skills.
  • Programming experience in these environments is a plus.
  • Naturally curious personality driven to learn and investigate.
  • Driven to find ways to improve and perform tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel. Desirable US visa B1/B2.
