About the Role

The Junior Accountant is a key member of our finance team at Rimas Entertainment México, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role plays a critical part in our company's financial operations, and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management
    • Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Manage and maintain financial ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to accounting errors, fraud, and other potential issues.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
    • Provide training and support to colleagues on financial procedures and policies.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurately and timely reported.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum one year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Experience with financial accounting software, including QuickBooks.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. The role is based in our office in Mexico, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
