Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Officer to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Fire Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests and employees by conducting regular fire safety checks, testing fire safety systems, and developing emergency response plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Test and maintain fire safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and fire drills.
  • Train employees on fire safety procedures and provide regular training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor and report on fire safety incidents and near-misses.
  • Develop and maintain fire safety guides and procedures for the hotel.
  • Ensure that all fire safety equipment is properly maintained and inspected regularly.
  • Supervise firefighting and evacuation efforts in the event of a fire or emergency.

Requirements

To be successful as a Fire Safety Officer, you will need to have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and codes.
  • Experience in a similar role within a large hotel environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
