The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SRE/Observability Engineer to drive the adoption of SRE and Observability best practices within our organization. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing SLO-based observability solutions, including metric identification and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex queries and alert definitions using various tools and programming languages.
  • Configure and manage monitoring, alerts, and observability systems using public and private cloud platforms.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge and operational experience with tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Ansible or similar tools.
  • Establish design patterns for monitoring and benchmarking SLOs.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategy in implementing and maintaining observability solutions.
Requirements
  • 6-10+ years of experience in Software Development or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Proven experience in observability dashboard design/development and understanding of business workflows across Public and On-Prem containerized/microservice environments.
  • Excellent working knowledge of key computer science & engineering concepts (networking, operating systems, virtualization, containerization, etc.).
  • Strong experience with end-to-end observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
  • Experience with IAC automation and CI/CD pipeline creation and management is desirable.
