Sybex Support Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project/Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and implementing various projects and operations to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Conduct regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in an IT environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and backup technologies.
- Experience with software deployment technologies, remote access technologies, and anti-virus technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications, such as MCP, CCNA, or PMP.
- Experience with enterprise Microsoft SCCM and other software deployment tools.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
