Housekeeping Coordinator Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Coordinator at Marriott International, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Housekeeping department. This includes running sold room reports, verifying room status, and prioritizing room cleaning. You will also act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run sold room reports and verify room status
• Prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms
• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
• Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff
• Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
