Key Responsibilities- Manage translation requests from across the enterprise, delegating tasks to internal or external linguists as needed.
- Lead file preparation efforts for translation, including Word, Excel, and InDesign files.
- Create and organize files using our team's folder structure to track localization requests and current status.
- Proactively identify and address issues to ensure all deliverables are on schedule, including working with internal and external resources.
- Collaborate with the team to improve localization processes, reducing output errors and streamlining processes through the incorporation of AI technology.
- Perform multilingual desktop publishing as needed.
- Conduct translation quality checks and certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least six years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy, with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Four to six years of prior project management experience, preferably in translation and localization.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the localization process.
- Critical thinking and collaboration skills to identify opportunities and priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing market conditions.
- Demonstrated agility in thinking and delivery.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize team workload.
- Resourceful, creative, well-organized, and proactive.
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools or software.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and XML.
- Working knowledge of Aprimo.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese preferred).
- Collaborative thinker who works well on a team.
- A hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week.
