Texas Instruments is seeking a seasoned Security Manager to oversee the administrative supervision of our security organization. This role involves developing and implementing security awareness programs, providing extra protection for key employees, and assisting with travel security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security risk assessment and planning, as well as experience in developing and maintaining security procedures to meet required codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance security operations through continuous evaluation and improvement.
  • Establish and enforce security protocols for our TI Aguascalientes site.
  • Review and update emergency plans and security policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend electronic security measures to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of our security program.
  • Stay current on changes to laws, ordinances, rules, and procedures affecting our TI Mexico security program.
  • Ensure compliance with WWPS Security Standards and maintain site-specific standards such as C-TPAT/OEA.
  • Perform routine audits and inspections to identify security gaps and risks.
  • Coordinate and manage Contract Security personnel to ensure essential job functions are completed.
  • Coordinate special events requiring security and emergency services support.
  • Effectively manage and lead assigned projects and participate in global project teams.
  • Maintain relationships with Site Leadership, partner with Facilities and ESH, and engage with law enforcement and fire agencies.
  • Maintain financial oversight of assigned cost center, including forecasting, capital projections, and cost reductions.
  • Respond to emergency events and become Incident Commander Level 3 qualified.
  • Conduct internal security-related investigations and ensure adequate completion of incident reports.
  • Work with Global Investigations Team as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a system for regularly communicating emergency incidents and recommendations for prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, or local jurisdictional requirements for Emergency Response Team(s).
  • Maintain ERT membership and ensure adequate trained personnel are assigned per shift.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing training of team members, including practice drills or exercises.
  • Select and procure emergency response equipment, supplies, and PPE.
  • Coordinate with public emergency service providers for mutual response effectiveness.
  • Establish a program for medical monitoring and surveillance physicals.
  • Administer physical performance testing for team members every three years.

Requirements:

  • 4 years' experience managing people, processes, or data, or experience in Security, Police, Fire, or Military.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, energetic, and influential.
