The ideal candidate will collaborate with management to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, enhancing employee satisfaction, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Monitoring daily absenteeism reports and collaborating with Production Supervisors to ensure timely follow-up and correct application of measures.
- Managing disciplinary cases across all levels, implementing corrective actions in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Executing employment termination processes, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company procedures.
- Facilitating communication meetings with employees, responding to requests from cross-functional teams and union representatives, fostering transparency and engagement.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and complaints, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring timely resolutions.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Providing active support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring attraction and selection of top talent.
- Collaborating closely with the Recruitment and Selection Lead and departmental managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective strategies for onboarding and integrating new employees.

Training, Development, and Performance Management:
- Supporting formation and continuous development of High-Performance Teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

- Identifying skill gaps through analysis and feedback, recommending targeted development solutions in coordination with the Training Specialist.
- Contributing to execution of training and development initiatives, monitoring their effectiveness and proposing adjustments to maximize impact and alignment with business objectives.
- Assisting in performance evaluation processes, guiding employees and managers to set appropriate goals.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws and other regulatory requirements related to human resources practices.
- Overseeing execution and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, guaranteeing alignment with legal standards and internal guidelines.
- Preparing accurate and timely HR reports for government agencies and internal audits, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
HR Administration:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and files, ensuring full compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Supporting payroll process by conducting ongoing audits of overtime schedules, working hours, time punches, and other employee data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Performing data audits and ensuring accuracy of information within TRESS and PLEX systems.
- Managing employment terminations and executing personnel changes within the TRESS system in a timely and compliant manner.
- Analyzing HR metrics, reports, and databases to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Creating and tracking Purchase Orders for external services, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Actively engaging in company events and HR initiatives, fostering a positive organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Ensuring that external HR service providers deliver services in accordance with established contracts and procurement agreements.
- Leading and supporting execution of various HR initiatives, both local and corporate, coordinating with relevant departments to guarantee successful implementation.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize HR processes, systems, and policies.
- Collaborating with operations and management teams to design and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Health and Safety:
- Collaborating with the EHS&S team to ensure a safe work environment, supporting accident investigations and reporting, as well as activities related to Asset Security in compliance with OEA certifications.
- Coordinating/requesting evidence to support investigations.
- Providing follow-up for employees with different conditions to ensure timely reintegration into assigned operations or evaluating other alternatives.
- Ensuring compliance with L3.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT).
- HRIS system experience (TRESS/PLEX).
- Experience with ISO, CTPAT & OEA certifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Recruitment & Hiring procedures, Onboarding, Training, Organizational Development, and Union Relations.
- Familiarity with HR policies.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
