We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. in Reynosa, Mexico.
About the Role:
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and six sigma, with experience in developing and implementing process improvements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with group health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
- Develop and execute plans to reduce non-value added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers.
- Oversee the creation of manufacturing subcontracts and manage subcontractors jointly with other involved disciplines.
- May provide support to sales during customer visits to explain capabilities of manufacturing facilities.
- Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Prepare annual production budget, oversee progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field, preferably with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
- Candidate must already have work authorization to work for HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. in the United States.
- MBA or relevant master's degree, working knowledge of SAP Electrical products, and experience in process engineering or quality management.
- Lean manufacturing training and implementation experience, six sigma training and certifications.
- Working knowledge of required health and safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts via presentations to senior level audiences.
- Change management experience, proven experience in developing teams.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
