The Senior Manager will lead our efforts to meet evolving legal and regulatory standards in financial regulatory compliance, licensing, and engagement with regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities- Regulatory Strategy & Licensing: Develop and implement strategies for regulatory compliance in local and international jurisdictions. Lead financial license applications and manage regulatory filings, approvals, and ongoing reporting obligations.
- Product & Payments Compliance: Ensure financial products comply with local and international regulations. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design compliant offerings that minimize friction. Monitor evolving regulatory changes affecting the business model.
- Regulatory Engagement & Advocacy: Serve as primary liaison with local financial regulators. Participate in policy discussions, industry working groups, and lobbying efforts. Prepare regulatory reports and respond to inquiries.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Conduct regulatory risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Help align business operations with financial services regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and market conduct rules.
- Training & Internal Advisory: Provide guidance on financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and best practices. Train internal teams on regulatory obligations affecting their roles.
