Event Coordinator

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Meet with clients to discuss event details and preferences
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
• Develop and implement event timelines and schedules
• Manage event budgets and ensure timely payment of vendors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination or a related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
