Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner Sr to join our team at Plexus. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning activities related to the production and materials release schedule and forecast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily production planning, material release planning, and expedition activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders.
  • Monitor production schedule performance to ensure the demand forecast is on track and customer commitments are met.
  • Establish and review the production schedule to ensure availability of resources and prevent excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Master Scheduler, Focus Factory Manager, and Program Manager to understand priorities related to customer demand.
  • Monitor material usage variances and communicate discrepancies to the Focus Factory Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating Inventory Analyst and Material Handler activities to ensure inventory needs are communicated.
  • Assess part availability to ensure correct quantities are available for production.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Team to meet material release schedules and expedite material releases as needed.
  • Resolve Focus Factory conflicts to prevent late shipments and maintain WO aging at expected levels.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • One (3) or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • ERP Logic Knowledge is required.
  • Strong understanding of NPI management, process knowledge, and Kitting process and materials coverage.
  • Talented skills in Drives results, Plans and Aligns, and Communication.
  • MS Office skills with knowledge of Excel.
Work Environment

The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
