We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Mexico City. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact on our big data platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support big data platforms
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages like Scala, Java, Python, and AWS Glue, Spark, Spark Streaming, and other AWS services
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering
Requirements:
- Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
- 2+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, or Python
- 2 + years of big data experience
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
- 1+ years of experience with Data Bricks/Snowflake, AWS, and Spark Streaming
