Infosys Limited is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2 (Stored procedures, Native SP, SQL). This role will involve interfacing with key stakeholders, applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, and delivering high-quality code deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module
  • Lead validation for all types of testing
  • Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience working in Mainframe, Cobol, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM
  • Experience working in DB2 (Stored procedures, Native SP, SQL)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mainframe Technologies
  • Experience in COBOL, CICS, and DB2
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cobol DB2 and CICS Application programming
  • At least 2 years of experience in VSAM and JCL
  • At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle (waterfall and agile)

Insurance background is mandatory and healthcare insurance experience would be an added advantage.
