About the Role

The primary goal is to enhance value in the procurement of MRO products and services while adhering to established indirect purchasing protocols. This role aims to achieve optimal cost-effectiveness and quality for Carrier Mexico, ensuring seamless operations through the effective utilization of digital systems, streamlined processes, and robust supplier relationships. This approach will yield measurable savings and fulfill customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis and categorization of expenses within the assigned MRO category.

• Develop Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Comparison Matrices for both local and global initiatives.

• Execute tenders utilizing the 7-step Strategic Sourcing methodology.

• Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to inform purchasing decisions.

• Formulate productivity strategies based on category analysis, including P&L, avoided costs, supplier rationalization, and expense consolidation.

• Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and conduct Supplier Evaluations (Score Card, 360 evaluations).

• Collaborate on global productivity projects with multidisciplinary and multiregional teams.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with regional KPIs.

• Manage contracts and define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to assess supplier performance.

• Oversee project management in accordance with PMO methodologies.

• Foster internal and external networking aligned with the culture, values, and principles of The Carrier Way.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in economic-administrative or engineering fields.

• Master's degree and/or APICS Certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of senior-level experience in Indirect Purchasing.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience in teamwork and global project environments.

• Familiarity with SAP, AS400, Ariba, CUOPA WAVE, or other ERP bidding tools.

• Advanced skills in Excel (Power BI).

• Proficient in PowerPoint.

• Expertise in strategic negotiations.

• Ability to manage Big Data and analyze complex information.

• PMO certification is a plus.
