About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Solaz a Luxury Collection Resort Los Cabos. This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent and relevant work experience.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, responding to guest repair requests, and communicating with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating tools and equipment
  • Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems with tools and equipment
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
  • Relevant work experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
Preferred Qualifications

Some experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus. A strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic/electronic systems is also desirable.
