About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our Global Direct Imports team at Amazon. As an Instock Manager, you will be responsible for driving purchasing, inventory planning, and forecasting for multiple countries through Direct Import Supply Chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize overstocking.
  • Purchasing and Forecasting: Develop and implement purchasing and forecasting strategies to meet business needs, drive cost savings, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders of partnered vendors to grow and optimize the joint import business.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Retail, Supply Chain, and Operations, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies is required.
