**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Meet with event planners and clients to discuss event details and requirements
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Ensure that all event arrangements are in place and that the event runs smoothly
  • Respond to and fulfill special event requests and arrangements
  • Follow up on event arrangements to ensure compliance and quality

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of event planning software and technology
