The Opportunity
Our Diversity, Talent, and Training team in Human Resources is looking for an E-Learning Program Manager to support our new Training Centre of Expertise in Calgary, Houston, and Mexico.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled E-Learning Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of training programs that meet the needs of our business areas. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure effective training experiences for employees.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborating with business areas, training developers, and other teams to identify training needs and develop effective solutions;
- Validating and streamlining training needs aligned with other business initiatives;
- Driving effective and efficient training solutions through adherence to training standards;
- Monitoring the effectiveness of training solutions and adjusting as needed;
- Supporting BU/Function in creating and maintaining effective training profiles aligning training solutions with defined needs;
- Project managing multiple internal and external training development projects with varying timelines and deliverables;
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree;
- 5+ years' experience in a learning role as a designer, consultant, partner, or strategist within a corporate environment;
- Proven experience in training needs assessment and adult learning principles;
- 3+ years' experience in the Energy/Utility industry or similar technical environment;
- Strong communication and stakeholders management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence;
- Proven track record in problem-solving, project management, and implementation of learning solutions;
- Proficient organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once;
- Adaptable and flexible in response to shifting priorities or demands;
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Location
This role is based in Calgary, Houston, and Mexico, with occasional travel to other business locations required.
