Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group LLC, you will be responsible for developing and recommending offline and system reports to improve profitability information. You will build and analyze profitability data for products, customers, regions, channels, and other areas to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Reporting and Analysis:
You will provide monthly and quarterly reporting related to company profitability by product, customer, region, and channel, and analyze variances against plan, forecast, and previous year. You will also monitor and analyze cost and expense paths through the company and their impacts on products, customers, regions, and channels.
Financial Modeling and Reporting:
You will elaborate financial profitability reports for local and corporate management, and calculate and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial profitability. You will also participate in process improvement teams and complete special projects as required.
Education and Experience:
A degree in accounting or finance, or a bachelor's degree in business administration, is required. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar field is also required.
Skills and Qualifications:
You should have knowledge of general accounting, financial planning, and cost structure. You should also be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel is also required, and experience with SAP, Analysis Office, and BPC reporting is desirable.
