Heavy Haulage Operator

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our team. This is an on-call position that requires the safe movement and parking of trailers around our sites.

We are looking for a professional with a valid driver's license, experience in operating trucks and trailers, and the ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces. As a shunter driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers, adhering to health and safety guidelines, inspecting vehicles and trailers, and safely parking trailers.

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Safe trailer parking

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid driver's license with appropriate class and endorsements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in operating trucks and trailers
• Ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces
• Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatcher and other team members
• Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts

This is an on-call position, requiring you to work at times, nights, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to drive an automatic and manual transmission truck and shunt truck, and have good skills to maneuver equipment in reverse.

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group offers a competitive salary ($60,000 - $80,000 per year), based on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.

This position is located in the United States, and you must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is an asset. You must also be able to travel using various forms of transportation, sometimes internationally.
