This key position at MAHLE will lead Continuous Improvement (MPS-Specialist) Projects ensuring application of MPS (lean) Methods and Standards to improve sustainable systems and value streams within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MPS projects, leveraging lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Coach and mentor employees in lean methodology, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Analyze and solve complex problems using statistical methods and mathematical calculations, ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Identify areas for further improvement, including estimating potential savings and developing strategic plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Transfer lean mentality and culture within the plant, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, or foreman/certified technician with 8 years of experience and a certified MPS Specialist certification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in lean manufacturing, project management, or related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
