Regional Third Party Compliance Specialist

Eastman is committed to conducting business with third parties who share our commitment to compliance with legal requirements and high ethical standards. We expect our business partners to act with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Our Third Party Vetting team manages the compliance vetting of Eastman's third party intermediaries using a risk-based approach. The team focuses on the highest risk third parties for Eastman. With the volume of third party intermediaries and their risk profile, we need to expand our resources to ensure effective third party vetting in a productive and efficient manner. This position as a Regional Third Party Compliance Specialist is critical to enhance our success. You will report to the Global Third Party Compliance Supervisor at our global headquarters in the United States and work closely with the Regional Third Party Compliance Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform an initial review of risk assessments on new third-party intermediaries to ensure accuracy and completeness of submittals.
- Monitor third parties on a continuous basis in compliance systems/tools and escalate results as appropriate.
- Provide guidance to and follow-up with stakeholders on all third party requests.
- Analyze and interpret risk assessment information with a view to approve/reject or escalate the third party for further due diligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3 years of compliance related experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Diplomatic and open communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team skills and ability to work independently and follow through tasks to completion/resolution.
- Detail oriented to produce accurate and consistent work.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
