This role is a key part of our team, focusing on indirect procurement for our sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal contract checkpoints to identify risks and opportunities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage RFQs.
- Develop new sources of indirect supplies and optimize purchasing costs.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, scheduling, and material control teams to coordinate logistics for maintenance projects.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, quantity, and delivery time.
- Expedite orders from suppliers to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in sourcing and supplier development.
- Expert negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, positivity, and right demeanor. They should be competent in computerized procurement systems and have advanced English language skills.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
