Role Overview

The Senior Analyst in Supply Chain is tasked with overseeing documentation processes, ensuring compliance with import regulations, and supporting various operational aspects within the organization. This role includes assisting in SAP training, conducting audits for compliance, and providing essential support in daily operations related to materials management and procurement.

Effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders is crucial for this position, ensuring smooth operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation and tracking to comply with import regulations.
  • Conduct audits related to vendor management, purchasing, and accounts payable to ensure adherence to established processes.
  • Provide operational support in SAP modules, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for new users of SAP, covering essential functions such as purchasing and accounts payable.
  • Create and maintain reports using various tools, ensuring accurate data representation.
  • Collaborate with procurement and accounts payable teams to resolve issues related to transactions and supplier agreements.
  • Audit shipments to ensure timely and accurate processing, supporting overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Assist in the management of materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels and compliance with quality standards.
  • Engage in project management for plant setups and product line transitions.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to drive process improvements within the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC, particularly in materials management and procurement.
  • Familiarity with Total Quality Management principles and supplier collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to developing innovative solutions.
