We are seeking a seasoned Senior UI Developer to join our dynamic team at Sequoia Connect. As a key player in shaping the digital experience for our global customers, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Java and React to drive innovation and growth.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior UI Developer with at least 8+ years of experience in Java UI/front-end development and 5+ years of experience with React-based projects. If you have a strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object models, and a thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, we want to hear from you.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, enterprise-level user interfaces using Java and React.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them efficiently.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with backend developers and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automation.

What We Offer:

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years of experience in Java UI/front-end development.
  • 5+ years of experience with React-based projects.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object models.
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Proficiency with development tools like Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.

Languages:

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.

Location:

This is an on-site position located in CDMX and Guadalajara.
