About the Role:
At Arrow Electronics, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Services Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of our logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes, from warehousing and distribution to transportation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the logistics team.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and oversee warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Train, mentor, and develop logistics staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Intermediate-Advanced English.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
