Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement safety programs to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production
- Develop and execute plans to achieve operational excellence, including Lean principles and 5S methodologies
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior leadership
- Work closely with the Southern Regional EH&S Manager to implement effective safety programs and protocols
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- At least ten years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on plastics extrusion/production
- Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving process improvements
- Strong understanding of Lean principles, 5S, and other quality management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
Salary Range:
$300,000 per year
