About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physicochemical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plant operation and manufactured products comply with established standards and quality requirements. This includes supervising plant compliance with quality and food safety policies and procedures, conducting regular tours of the plant to check order, cleanliness, and process conditions, and monitoring and reporting quality incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and functionality of the physicochemical laboratory
- Supervise plant compliance with Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular tours of the plant to check order, cleanliness, process conditions, control points, CCP, records, formulations, safety conditions, and GMP
- Monitor and report quality incidents in Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Storage, Process Conditions, Product in Process, Finished Product, and Shipping Conditions
- Support in the non-conforming product control/product detention procedure
- Responsible for sample control
- Responsible for updating the work instructions of the physicochemical laboratory
- Responsible for keeping the formats in use of the physicochemical laboratory updated
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in biochemistry, food science, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality or a similar position. You should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Experience with SAP or other systems is a plus.
