SAP S/4HANA Financial Solutions Architect

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and oversee the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA finance solutions tailored to meet local Mexican requirements.
  • Manage external partners responsible for configuring financial aspects within SAP S/4HANA for the Mexican market.
  • Evaluate and authorize technical specifications, configurations, and code produced by external partners to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct gap analyses between standard SAP functionalities and specific Mexican needs, pinpointing areas that require customization.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, IT, and external partners, to guarantee successful project execution.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Mexican financial regulations and SAP S/4HANA finance capabilities.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes and configurations, creating a knowledge repository for future reference.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance Architect (or a comparable role) with at least 5 years in the field.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and related sub-modules (such as Treasury Management and Project System).
  • Profound understanding of Mexican accounting standards (including NOMs and CFTA) and their effects on SAP configurations.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners on SAP implementation projects.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven track record:
  • Successful history as an SAP S/4 Implementation Architect, leading significant projects.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly within automotive or battery industries, is advantageous.
