We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at COMEX. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs and ensure employee compliance.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican regulations and industry standards related to health and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
