About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Verification Engineer to join our team at Microsure, a pioneering company in the development of micro-surgical robots. As a Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our robotic system used for micro-surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute verification plans and test protocols to assess the safety performance and reliability of our medical robotics systems;
  • Define system verification tests and automation concepts for mechatronics and firmware;
  • Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to understand system requirements and ensure verification activities align with product specifications;
  • Design and implement test cases and test scenarios to validate system functionality, precision, and performance under various operating conditions;
  • Ensure repeatable, traceable test cases and proactively collect and analyze test data, perform root cause analysis, and provide detailed reports on test results, highlighting any deviations or anomalies;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified issues (e.g., integration work) and participate in the resolution process in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner;
  • Maintain accurate documentation of verification activities, including test plans, protocols, reports, and traceability matrices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, mechanical, robotics, software, or a technical-oriented field;
  • Proven 3-7 years of working experience as a Verification Engineer, preferably in the healthcare sector;
  • Understanding test circumstances in worst-case conditions;
  • Full understanding of test methodologies and techniques;
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C++, Python) for test automation and data analysis;
  • Understanding production processes and relevant quality procedures;
  • Hands-on mentality in developing test cases;
  • Good planning and tracking skills;
  • Critical mindset regarding what is under test (release, WIP, etc.);
  • Experience with working in a regulated environment;
  • Structured approach to problem-solving and testing;
  • Self-starter; takes ownership of tasks;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Enthusiasm for working in a start-up/scale-up environment with dynamic requirements;
  • Positive attitude, integrity, flexibility, can-do mentality;
