About the Role
In this senior position, you will lead our risk management team in delivering strategic insights and guidance to support business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the development of risk assessment frameworks and mitigation strategies to minimize risks and maximize opportunities for growth and success.
- Collaborating with Director, Strategic Risk Advisory & Partnership to review and challenge risk mitigation efforts for portfolio functions, ensuring alignment with established practices and risk appetite.
- Buidling and leading a high-performing GTM Risk Partnering team to drive effective risk management across business segments.
- Overseeing the integration of ERM Framework within supported functions and segments, facilitating key risk activities through consistent, regular, and repeatable processes risk assessments.
- Supporting risk assessment of portfolio function (Data & Analytics team) key initiatives and/or projects in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management program.
- Providing oversight and constructive challenge to ensure that risks across various functions and segments are effectively managed, in accordance with established practices and risk appetite.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts within and outside the organization.
- Overseeing the preparation of periodic risk reports to Senior Leaders, including Top and Emerging Risks and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), ensuring clear and concise communication of key risks and emerging issues.
- Leading the development and execution of a risk culture strategy for supported segments, aiming to spread risk awareness across the organization by engaging senior executives and educating employees on ERM's importance and driving enterprise-level activities focusing on risk accountability and culture advancement.
- Supplying risk management training to the 1st line and 2nd line to ensure appropriate understanding of risk management theory and application.
- Providing independent review and challenge of risk and issues registers to guarantee all material risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance.
- Supporting functions in issues management and issues reporting.
- Supporting implementation of a robust risk technology roadmap, ensuring ERM tools and methodologies are integrated into the GRC tool.
- Managing and driving adoption as a super user of GRC tools, systems, and processes.
