QHSE Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Specialist to join our team at Element Solutions Inc.

As a QHSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of the integral management system, carrying out actions focused on achieving a safe and healthy operation for people, respectful of the environment and in compliance with policies, legal and customer requirements.

1. Collaborate in the certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, training and promoting the participation of personnel in the system's initiatives, making use of the resources assigned to ensure that the management system is in force in all activities of the operation.
2. Supervise the performance of the operation, making tours, auditing processes and products, participating in internal audits, to support continuous improvement.
3. Maintain updated documentation for the operation of the area, reviewing, modifying and processing procedures and records in the system to have current documentation.
4. Update the site's Emergency Plan, analyzing the results of drills and emergencies to improve the emergency response of the brigades and personnel.
5. Ensure compliance with general and brigade training programs, developing, scheduling, budgeting and executing the general training program, brigade training and 5-minute talks to maintain competent and aware personnel.
6. Execute the area's budget by scheduling PPE purchases, training services, maintenance services to ensure the availability of the area's resources.
7. Manage in conjunction with the purchasing area the suppliers, contacting them, evaluating them, and ensuring to get the best purchasing options to optimize the area's budget.
8. Manage the emergency brigades, scheduling their activities, training, practices to have competent brigades.
9. Disseminate events and campaigns of the integral management system, scheduling and implementing recreational and dynamic activities to improve the participation and awareness of the worker in the management system.
10. Collaborate in risk analysis, advising, training, promoting in work teams the use of problem-solving tools to maintain a safe environment and in compliance with local regulations in force.
11. Support in the implementation of current local legislation by executing follow-up activities to maintain legal compliance of the plant.
12. Support in the resolution of corrective and improvement actions that are recorded in the system, collaborating in their analysis and implementation to mitigate risks, impacts and achieve customer satisfaction.
13. Follow up on safety, health, environmental and quality indicators, analyzing the causes of deviations, following up on improvement plans, triggering corrective actions to achieve compliance with the objectives.
