Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Coverage Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a Coverage Specialist, you will play a critical role in securing capacity for our customers' shipments, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Capacity Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to secure capacity for our customers' shipments
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
- Monitor and analyze carrier performance to identify areas for improvement
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
- Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Identify and resolve any logistical issues that may arise during transit
- Problem-Solving
- Identify and resolve problems that may impact shipment delivery or customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement solutions to improve processes and reduce errors
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience
