Job Description: Car Leader

We are looking for a highly skilled Car Leader to join our team in Apodaca, Nuevo León. As a Car Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing plant manufacturing, engineering, product, and new programs topics. Your key tasks will include:

  • Coordinating Product Engineering activities according to established program timelines.
  • Supporting engineering changes.
  • Developing, controlling, and supplying plans for finished products, bills of materials, cutting sheets, visual aids for secondary processes, etc.
  • Leading engineering changes and design reviews.
  • Ensuring the updating and precision of bills of materials (BOM) according to engineering changes and manufacturing adjustments.
  • Utilizing knowledge and experience to propose design improvements and cost savings during manufacturing.
  • Obtaining and releasing information for new components required by engineering changes.
  • Requesting and analyzing manufacturing specifications.

You will work closely with our team to ensure compliance with Lear's policies on the environment, health, and safety, as well as quality policies and procedures. This includes participating in activities related to ISO14001, CTPAT, TS16949, and any other corporate or internal audit in which the human resources area is directly or indirectly related.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience or more in Product Engineering, Launching Coordinator, or Program Leader.
  • English proficiency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, SMT, and Microsoft Project.
