We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our Indirect Procurement organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring category strategies, programs, and corporate initiatives are effectively deployed across various business units.
Your primary focus will be on identifying cost savings and trade working capital improvement opportunities, creating and driving project plans in manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices in North America.
To achieve this, you will work closely with one or more business units to understand their needs, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure alignment with corporate category strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Be a true business partner for assigned business units, understanding procurement's role in enabling business success.
- Spokesperson for the indirect procurement organization, articulating value delivery to the business and representing the department's agenda.
- Enabler and change agent for the enterprise, liaising between business units, corporate category management, and supporting functions to drive execution and accountability.
