Housekeeper - Hospitality Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hospitality Specialist to join our team at Marine Corps Community Services. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Maintenance: Makes beds, changes sheets, towels, and other linens. Thoroughly cleans guest rooms to include dusting, waxing, and polishing furniture, sweeping floors, vacuuming and shampooing rugs, emptying ashtrays and wastebaskets, and sanitizing lavatories.
2. Customer Service: Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles, and makes eye contact.
3. Flexibility and Adaptability: May be required to work a varying schedule to reflect the business needs.

Requirements:

1. Age and Education: Must be at least 20 years old and have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school.
2. Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs., such as linen, trash, and bending, stooping, and pushing and/or pulling heavy carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
3. License and Certification: A valid Government-Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator's permit is required for the performance of duties for this position.
