**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in providing exceptional support to customers transitioning to Google Cloud. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for customer needs.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools, increasing productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.

You will understand Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis. You will act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.

This role requires collaboration with a team of engineers/consultants ensuring 24-hour customer support, including non-standard work hours or shifts. Your expertise will be invaluable in understanding customer issues and advocating for their needs with cross-functional teams to find ways to improve the product and drive quality production.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
  • Understand Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
  • Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support, including sometimes working non-standard work hours or shifts.
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive quality production.

Key Requirements:

Experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, data science, or other Big Data applications.
Understanding of basic web technologies, TCP/IP concepts, Unix/Linux basic administration, and commands.
Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years of experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
A strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, and related technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Professional certifications in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, or cybersecurity would be beneficial but not required.
