Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Avionics team, you will be responsible for advancing flight deck solutions, airborne communications, vision systems, sensors, and fire protection for commercial and military customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to evaluate potential solutions related to changes in equipment selection, procedures, manpower, or training to ensure the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
  • Establish and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
  • Review and provide analytical input to documents, such as proposals or other operational procedures, to support studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • Plan the sequence of operations and procedures and document manufacturing standard work and routings.
  • Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.
  • Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule.
  • Conduct Process Flow analysis and make improvements.
  • Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
  • Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide information to management as the status of equipment, manpower, space, and other elements affecting manufacturing.
  • Provide input or guidance to lower-level professional and technical staff.
Requirements
  • Industrial Engineering or any other related field (electronics, mechatronics, or mechanical).
  • English 90%.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • 2nd shift Position.
  • Valid Visa is required.
  • Medium-advanced Excel user.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred project management.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Work autonomously with limited supervision.
