Chief Technology Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our Mexico branch in Merida. As a CTO, you will play a crucial role in helping our company expand and establish a strong presence in the Latin America and USA markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of our technology and solutions offerings on the markets by training the local team and representing the company at customer meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success Teams to win new business opportunities and close deals.
• Represent the company at customer meetings to understand their needs and align them with our offerings.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team of software engineers, data analysts, and IT specialists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Poland (HQ), USA, UK, and Germany to define and execute the company's targets.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technology vendors and partnerships to enhance the company's capabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Manage the technology budget and resources to maximize efficiency and ROI.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth among the technology team.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote thought leadership and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid experience with proven track in a similar position, preferably in the technology industry.
• In-depth knowledge of software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to develop and execute the organization's technology strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining scalable IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and a commitment to ensuring data privacy and protection.
• Ability to identify and evaluate new technology solutions and vendors.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid USA VISA (excl.) and ability to travel.
