Maintenance Planner Engineer

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Planner Engineer to join our team at Molex. As a key member of our production area, you will be responsible for creating and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance plans, analyzing data, and collaborating with various groups to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with production teams and other departments to ensure seamless manufacturing operations and achieve plant metrics and goals.
2. Lead the maintenance budget preparation process, using CMMS/SAP monthly reports to establish and track costs for equipment and work orders.
3. Develop scheduled preventive maintenance plans for plant equipment, including long and short-range outage activities.
4. Anticipate and eliminate potential manufacturing delays by planning and coordinating maintenance activities, including manpower, parts, equipment, and material.
5. Balance weekly output requirements with the need for reliability and proactive maintenance.
6. Work with process management and materials planning to perform maintenance without interrupting production.
7. Use SAP to plan and schedule maintenance routines to maintain production continuity.
8. Serve as a SuperUser for the SAP Plant Maintenance Module.
9. Review prioritized work orders and evaluate them for planning and/or scheduling process application.
10. Understand and support Molex's International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree with expertise in Maintenance.
2. Good experience in a similar position.
3. Experience in SAP maintenance.
4. Hands-on experience with plant utilities and manufacturing equipment.
5. Experience with 5 whys and Ishikawa (Fishbone diagram).
6. English fluency.
7. Knowledge of statistical and engineering methods to implement preventive and corrective actions.
8. Knowledge of maintenance methods and processes for molding and assembly equipment.
9. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
10. Proficient computer skills, including experience with spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software.
