About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost and Pricing Engineer to join our team at Lear Corporation. As a Cost and Pricing Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to maximize our return on investment (O/I) and effectively calculating the cost and price impact of engineering changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to identify areas for improvement
- Generate and maintain technical information, including Bills of Materials (BoM's), Cut Sheets, and Labor Reports
- Analyze and calculate the cost and price impact of engineering changes to maximize O/I
- Analyze and calculate the impact on cost and suggested prices for new businesses to maintain and/or improve sales levels
- Provide support and contribute ideas for improving O/I through cost-benefit analysis
- Develop new tools and automate formats to improve delivery times and process efficiency
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or related field
- 1 year of experience in a related field
- English proficiency
- Knowledge of harnesses process (desirable), general knowledge of manufacturing process, people management, problem-solving techniques, AMEF, IATF, Control Plan, Core tools, MS Office, Analytic Skills, Customer Service oriented, Mathematical-logical thinking, proactive attitude
