About the Role

This opening is for a talented full-stack software engineer to join our Database Lifecycle Management cloud service team. As a key member, you will collaborate with a fast-growing and action-oriented team of engineers, test automation specialists, product managers, and UX designers to build out new services.

We use Agile methodologies to self-organize and deliver value at a rapid pace. Our team is passionate about innovation and excellence, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. As a member of our software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.

Besides building enhancements within an existing software architecture, you may also suggest improvements to tasks and processes. Your work will involve moderately complex problem-solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to your functional area. A minimum of 1 year of software engineering or related experience is required. Preferred qualifications include:

- 1+/2+ years of experience in software development environments

- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST services, and SQL

- Familiarity and understanding of cloud-based development platforms

- Experience in developing UI pages using modern JavaScript libraries such as Angular, React, etc.

- Prior cloud DevOps exposure is a huge plus

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field
