Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Oracle Database Engineering - Tools and Application team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data pipelines for the required solution and application features by leveraging business, technical, and data requirements.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize and present data insights effectively.
  • Develop custom data visualizations and extensions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) tools such as Oracle Data Visualization (DV).
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability as a Data Engineer, Analytics Developer or similar roles.
  • Strong experience in data modeling including physical, logical, and semantic models; data visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Oracle Database.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative distributed team environment.
