Job Description

Oracle Hong Kong is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team in the development of innovative cloud storage solutions.

About the Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance cloud storage management software using C programming language.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud storage solutions with Oracle Database and other cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and implement algorithms and data structures to optimize cloud storage performance and scalability.
  • Work closely with Linux system administrators to ensure seamless integration with cloud storage infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining C applications.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, multithreading, processes, and memory management.
  • Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience working in Linux environments and familiarity with GCC, GDB, and other debug tools.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Rational ClearCase for UNIX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interprocess communication expertise.
  • Good understanding of cloud storage architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud-based storage solutions and Oracle Database.
