We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Handler to join our team at FedEx LAC. As an Operations Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

• Package Handling: Provide efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages, ensuring proper labeling, legality of content, and adherence to company policies.
• Package Inspection: Check packages to ensure they meet company standards, including weight, size, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, such as airway bills and delivery records, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Customer Service: Seek additional business from current customers and inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
• Vehicle Operations: Load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Sorting and Auditing: Audit size and weight of packages and boxes and sort them accordingly.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.

• Education: Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
