We provide technical knowledge and support to engineers and buyers of CMs/OEMs, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support our Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico territory.
This individual will be responsible for finding, developing, and growing new and existing customers in their territory, including inter-territory support and relationship building.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a proven track record of driving sales results.
Responsibilities- Outbound communications to customers and prospects to identify needs and provide Krayden's solutions.
- Troubleshooting complex customer problems, inquiries, and service requests.
- Responding to requests for proposals/quotes, regional referrals, blanket order requests, and large order pricing/discounting.
- Utilizing customer profile data to target high-potential accounts and match business fit with Krayden.
- Probing customer/prospect needs to uncover sales opportunities.
- Building brand awareness and promoting Krayden's products and services.
- Retailing sales in assigned accounts.
- Developing and implementing Account Plans/campaigns to identify additional business with past purchasers and new accounts.
- Coordinating and executing special product offerings with product managers to increase sales and vendor support.
- Partnering with Marketing, Tech Support, and other departments to develop strategic marketing campaigns within the territory.
- Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers, attend trade shows, and participate in relevant events.
- 5+ years of industry experience in Chemical Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
- Industry experience or knowledge in Electronics, Aerospace, Transportation, or Contract Manufacturing highly desirable.
- Proven experience driving successful sales results, including sales growth year-over-year, improved customer retention, and quantifiable business outcomes.
- Proven results in providing value-added service to customers.
- Strong PC and computer software experience, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM Software.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical and discerning skills.
- Exceptional listening and probing skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and direct the work of others.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
