About the Role

At Capgemini, we're seeking a skilled Automation Test Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering services, you'll be responsible for building and leading automation solutions for our clients. With a strong background in cloud migration projects, you'll advise and build automation scripts to ensure code coverage and quality.

Your Responsibilities
  • Strategic solution builder to provide end-to-end solutions to client automation requirements.
  • Lead and drive automation solutions for clients, with good experience in cloud migration projects.
  • Advise and build automation scripts (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI) ensuring code coverage and quality.
  • Good experience in latest automation tools and framework.
  • Create, execute, improve, and maintain automation test scripts through standard methodologies, closely monitor test results for swift feedback, and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Advocate and evangelize good testing practices, like pair programming, code reviews, Test Driven Development (TDD), Exploratory Testing, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • Identify, evaluate, report and document defects, questionable functions and inconsistencies in product content and outlook during the design and implementation phase.
  • Lead and conduct Exploratory Testing sessions with the team.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive and well-structured test cases to organize component test scenarios, for documentation and knowledge sharing purposes
  • Troubleshoot production issues as needed.
  • Experience in driving team and managing workloads, allocation, utilization and capacity estimations.
  • Experience of bringing thought leadership, strategy and innovation.
About You
  • At least 8 years of experience as a tester or similar roles.
  • University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
  • Working experience as Automation Tester.
  • Experience in Project Management (planning and execution of activities), understand key processes and deliver results on time.
  • Provide Client Relationship Management (Understand client and their needs, build relationships with Stakeholders)
  • Team and Resource Management (to maximize output)
  • Complete reports with the required level of detail and Quality.
  • Advanced English Communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Experienced in Scrum Framework.
  • Please note that this is a Hybrid position, you'll be required to work some days per week at our offices in CDMX or GDL.
